Rooted in Konkan

House of Sugandha comes from Tithavli, a village in Sindhudurg, where our work began with growing lemongrass and distilling its aromatic oil. That experience shaped our approach to fragrance: understanding the plant, working with its aroma, and creating products people can enjoy every day.

Patchouli continues that journey, bringing a rich botanical character into an everyday ritual.

How we create it

At our Konkan workshop, selected aromatic oils are prepared for their earthy, woody fragrance character, then filled into glass hanging bottles and finished with wooden diffuser caps and cords. Once activated according to the supplied directions, the cap absorbs the fragrance and gradually releases it into the surrounding air. Each bottle is presented in Sugandha’s signature botanical box.
